Campus Parking Predictor Dashboard
React, LightGBM, FastAPI, Supabase, AWS EC2 · Jan. 2026 – Present
- Built a real-time parking availability dashboard for UNC Charlotte with ML-powered predictions, scraping occupancy data from 10 parking decks every 5 minutes via a Python service on AWS EC2.
- Trained LightGBM models for near-term (3-hour, MAE=0.020, R²=0.98) and long-range (24-hour, MAE=0.042, R²=0.94) availability prediction using weather data and temporal features.
- Built a FastAPI prediction service that runs models on a timer, writing forecasts with confidence bands to Supabase, with automated Discord alerts and daily accuracy reports.
- Developed a React frontend using Chart.js to render 48-hour historical trends with a 24-hour forecast overlay and confidence bands per deck.

- Built an interactive campus map for UNC Charlotte where students can anonymously pin favorite spots, memories, and special moments.
- Implemented Leaflet with CartoDB Positron tiles and marker clustering for dense pin areas, bounded to the campus region.
- Backed by Supabase (PostgreSQL) for pin persistence with row-level security policies and optimistic UI updates.
Automated Twitter Content Publisher

- Developed Python-based RSS aggregation and social media automation tool for university news publication.
- System fetches articles from multiple RSS feeds, stores metadata in SQLite database, and automatically posts to Twitter (X) through API at scheduled intervals.
- Implemented retry logic with backoff for API rate limiting.

- Delivered end-to-end analytics pipeline under 2-hour deadline using Python, Pandas, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
- Merged 3 datasets (271K records), performed data cleaning and feature engineering, and executed complex groupby/pivot operations.
